This semester I feel like what was beneficial to me is reading throw text. When I first started, I really didn’t thinking the way I do now. Now when I read, I read sentence by sentence to see if this is the main idea, supporting details. I feel like the way Mr. Still helped change the way I read forever. Also, when I’m reading I look for contexts clue. The most beneficial thing is the class positivity, when professor Still calls on me to read, I never hear anyone about to laugh at me or looking at me trying to make fun of me because I missed a word. That’s something that the whole class has is respectful, and I’m thankful for my classmates. What I wish to read more is sports. This semester we didn’t read any articles about sports. I feel that the class would be way more fun if we analyzed some football articles , and right now would be a good time. Because the Nfl are looking at who’s going to be their next biggest star so they have to go look for some that’s in college football. Most of the time they are looking for a player that fits their offense, defense of scheme. The way I look at it’s just like what we do in class when use the supporting details to find a main idea. When a coach is watching the Draft they look at height weight speed and length before they draft the player. IT’S THE same thing in class before we decided the main idea we look at the whole section before we determine the main idea . I don’t feel like I wasted anytime this semester because I learned a lot about reading and how to think more then basic thinking. Thinking more in depth is very important because it open your eyes to more thing. At the beginning Professor Still told me if I can learn how to under what I read as a football coach I will be a very good coach. For me to learn what I’m read first I have to master it and that’s how this class will help me if my future job.
